The new wastewater treatment plant for the town of Prelouc was built and put into operation in 2002. The operator of the plant is Vodovody a kanalizace Pardubice, the Czech joint-stock company (hereinafter VaK).
The complete control system for the plant was implemented by the PROTECO company. To control the process of mechanical pre-treatment and the blower room, a TECOMAT NS950 PLC with a CPM 2B central unit was employed. Another Tecomat NS950 PLC with a CPM 1D central unit was used to control the process of sludge treatment.
